Story & Inspiration: In the late 17th to early 18th century — the dawn and dusk of the Golden Age of Sail — the seas were both empire and grave. As the great powers of Europe waged war across the oceans, merchants, privateers, and outlaws all chased fortune and freedom beneath the same storm-tossed skies. Amid roaring cannons and whispering tides, legends were born: daring captains who defied kings, fleets that vanished into tempests, and songs carried by rum, salt, and blood.
